Business Development Manager

CWB Financial Group is seeking a seasoned professional to join our dynamic team as a Business Development Manager. This role requires a strong background in financial analysis and credit packaging, with a proven ability to achieve sales targets and budgets in the leasing industry.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a personal business plan to deliver strong, profitable, and balanced growth of equipment loans and leases.
- Communicate directly with internal partners, customers, and external professionals to drive sales and growth.
- Analyze financial statements and develop credit packages to support larger dollar transactions.
- Drive the credit and lease processes through the preparation of applications and documentation.
- Apply effective communication to ensure customer expectations are successfully achieved with all internal/external collaborators.
- Financial and marketing knowledge of local markets and national economies built on a foundation of formal education (business, commerce, finance, sales, marketing diploma/degree) or real-life experience (5+ years of financial services sales experience - preferably in equipment financing and leasing).
- You don't need letters behind your name (CFA, CPA) but you will need the ability to understand financial statements, how to complete analysis, and possess a sound understanding of effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Credit adjudication experience and a basic knowledge of collateral security and documentation would be considered strong assets.
