Job Title: Optometric Care Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Optometric Care Coordinator to join our team at Optometric Services Inc. This is a full-time/part-time position, with competitive pay of $17.40-$22.00 per hour. The successful candidate will have a passion for patient care and a strong interest in the optical field.

Job Description:
In this role, you will assist optometrists with patient care, including pre-testing and diagnostic testing. You will also maintain electronic medical records accurately and efficiently. Your exceptional customer service skills will be showcased as you schedule appointments, invoice patients, verify insurance, process payments, and handle patient inquiries. Additionally, you will assist with frame and lens selection and sales in the optical dispensary, take proper measurements for prescription glasses, and help customers with basic frame repairs.

Responsibilities:
- Assist optometrists with patient care, including pre-testing and diagnostic testing.
- Maintain electronic medical records accurately and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk by scheduling appointments, invoicing, verifying insurance, processing payments, and handling patient inquiries.
- Assist with frame and lens selection and sales in the optical dispensary.
- Take proper measurements for all prescription glasses.
- Help customers with basic frame repairs.

Requirements:
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to optometry.
- Accuracy in record keeping and tasks in general.
- Strong sales skills with a background in retail sales.
- Knowledge of front desk operations in a medical office setting.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and provide excellent patient care.
- Familiarity with optical products and services.
