Join BC Cancer as a Cancer Care Coordinator in our Vancouver location, where you will be working with a team of dedicated professionals to provide comprehensive cancer care for the people of British Columbia. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families.
About the JobThis regular full-time position offers a competitive salary of $28.31 per hour. In this role, you will work closely with clinicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions between different departments and services.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to effectively deal with others in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to have the physical ability to carry out the duties of the position and be proficient in keyboarding at 40 w.p.m.
In addition to your technical skills, we are looking for someone who is passionate about creating a safe and inclusive environment for all patients, families, and staff. Your commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting reconciliation in Canada and familiarity with Indigenous Cultural Safety and anti-racism principles will be highly valued.
