We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Care Coordinator to join our team at Kiwanis Manor, a long-term care facility in West Vancouver, BC. As a valued member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional nursing care to residents and supporting their overall well-being.
Job SummaryThis Casual position involves delivering direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed. You will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans, monitor residents' health status, and provide education on health management and wellness.

Responsibilities- Deliver direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans.
- Monitor residents' health status and report any changes to the nursing team.
- Educate residents and their families on health management and wellness.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to enhance resident care.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and BC health regulations.
- Valid LPN license in British Columbia (BCCN&M Registration).
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification.
- Previous experience in long-term care or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- On-site parking.
- Flexible schedule.
The hourly rate for this position is $32.84 per hour, with opportunities for overtime pay. We also offer a flexible schedule to accommodate your needs.
Schedule- 4 hour shift.
- 8 hour shift.
- Day shift.
- Evening shift.
- Monday to Friday.
- Morning shift.
- Night shift.
- Weekends as needed.
