Pediatric Anesthesiologist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our team at BC Children's Hospital. As a key member of our Department of Pediatric Anesthesia, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care to our young patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide anesthesia services for pediatric patients undergoing various surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols
  • Engage in education and training of junior staff members
Requirements:
  • Medical degree and eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia
  • Recognized anesthesia training and subspecialty training in pediatric anesthesia
  • Experience in pediatric pain medicine, clinical research, or quality improvement is an asset
