Job Description

The Human Relations Business Partner plays a crucial role in providing HR coordination and support to Harbour Light managers and staff. Key responsibilities include:

  • Employee relations: Building positive relationships with employees and addressing concerns in a fair and timely manner.
  • Labour relations: Negotiating and maintaining positive labour relations with union representatives.
  • Recruitment and selection: Attracting and hiring top talent to meet business needs.
  • Performance management: Developing and implementing effective performance management systems.
  • Compensation and benefits: Designing and administering competitive compensation and benefits packages.
  • Training and development: Providing opportunities for employee growth and development.
  • Benefits administration: Overseeing the administration of benefits programs.
  • Policies and compliance: Developing and implementing human resources policies and ensuring legal compliance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • An undergraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., human resources, business administration).
  • Post-secondary education in human resources or a related field would be an asset.

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience. This estimate is based on industry standards and location factors.
