The Human Relations Business Partner plays a crucial role in providing HR coordination and support to Harbour Light managers and staff. Key responsibilities include:
- Employee relations: Building positive relationships with employees and addressing concerns in a fair and timely manner.
- Labour relations: Negotiating and maintaining positive labour relations with union representatives.
- Recruitment and selection: Attracting and hiring top talent to meet business needs.
- Performance management: Developing and implementing effective performance management systems.
- Compensation and benefits: Designing and administering competitive compensation and benefits packages.
- Training and development: Providing opportunities for employee growth and development.
- Benefits administration: Overseeing the administration of benefits programs.
- Policies and compliance: Developing and implementing human resources policies and ensuring legal compliance.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of three years of experience in human resources or a related field.
- An undergraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., human resources, business administration).
- Post-secondary education in human resources or a related field would be an asset.
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience. This estimate is based on industry standards and location factors.
