Key Responsibilities

  • Coaching and Development: Provide coaching and guidance to our management team on human resources management best practices, including employee engagement, performance management, compensation, communication, training and development, talent acquisition, and internal processes.
  • Business Partnership: Develop strong relationships with both managers and employees to foster trust, engagement, and retention.
  • Risk Management and Compliance: Identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement related to human resources management and support managers in implementing responsible and strategic solutions.
  • Project Coordination: Represent the HR function and business sector in various mandates and projects, and implement resulting initiatives.
  • Cultural Ambassador: Act as an agent of change within a context of rapid growth, aligning with CIMA+s values and organizational culture.
  • Employee Support: Serve as a resource person for employees regarding HR-related questions and concerns.
  • Compliance and Best Practices: Stay up-to-date on current laws, regulations, best practices, and trends in human resources management.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a HR Generalist or Business Partner role, preferably in a professional services and consulting engineering sector.
  • Skills and Competencies: Strong understanding of Western Canada employment laws, recognized business partnership experience, excellent customer service orientation, high capacity for autonomy, leadership and influencing skills, team spirit and collaboration, coaching and communication skills, creativity and innovation, and ability to thrive in a changing environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is between $75,000 to $95,000 per year, based on the candidate's experience, training, skills, and internal equity. CIMA+ offers a competitive benefits package, including opportunities for professional growth and development.
