Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Sales and Business Development based in Mississauga, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing sales activities, leading a sales team, and driving revenue growth for the company.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to expand the customer base and increase regional reach.
  • Recruit, train, and coach sales executives to enhance their performance and identify knowledge gaps within the team.
  • Ensure that company quotas are met by holding regular check-ins with the sales team to set objectives and monitor progress.
  • Present sales reports, revenue forecasts, and expense reports to the management team.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts and develop strategies to compete in these markets.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and produce dashboards and reports via CRM and other data sources.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of experience in managing sales in a corporate setting.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from planning to closing.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, business sense, and industry expertise.
  • Ability to travel with sales executives.
  • Desired experience in selling digital advertising opportunities, including display ads, sponsored content, social media advertising, Google ads, and SEO.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, or a relevant field.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and social media platforms.
