Job Summary

The Business Development Director, Absence, Disability and Workers Compensation will be responsible for leading the development and execution of a business development plan that drives revenue growth and achieves individual sales targets.

Responsibilities
  • Develop strategic relationships with key contacts from prospects and/or partners
  • Lead identified client opportunities (including RFI, RFPs) with support of broader team of subject matter experts and regional team leads
  • Drive up-selling and cross-selling activities within TELUS Health's broader book of business
Requirements

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field is preferred, or equivalent work experience required
  • Minimum 5-7+ years of progressive experience in business development, with a proven track record in lead generation and sales opportunity management
  • Must have Industry related experience (absence and disability management, workers' compensation, group benefits, occupational health, employee health and wellbeing programs)
