Key Responsibilities:

As a Finance Business Partnering Manager at Aviva, you will play a critical role in driving business performance and growth. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring all business decisions are supported by high-quality financial analysis and data resources.
  • Driving quality benefits planning and ensuring business activities are aligned with benefits plans and performance targets.
  • Proactively managing expenses to provide senior management with potential upsides and downsides.
  • Advising on Business Unit Operational Reviews and Benefits Planning processes and engaging business leaders.
  • Identifying, validating, and tracking the benefit status of change portfolios.
  • Developing and managing processes and toolkits to support benefits enablement and realization.
  • Defining and embedding project benefits in the financial plan.
  • Providing timely management information that contributes to beneficial decision support.

Key Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • 3+ years of post-qualification financial management experience, preferably in a P&C organization.
  • CPA or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong influencing skills and a natural leadership ability.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a structured and controlled framework.
  • Proven leader with the ability to empower a team of hard-working individuals.
  • Demonstrable understanding and strategic perspective on the insurance industry.
  • Experience with contract negotiation and management, business modeling, acquisitions, and integration.
  • Sound understanding of financial, strategic, and performance management processes.
