Accounts Payable Specialist – Peninsula Canada
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at Peninsula Canada. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and process incoming invoices and credit notes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Enter invoices and credit notes into our accounting system, ensuring all necessary information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Upload invoices and credit notes to our approval system for review and approval.
- Maintain and update vendor records, including payment details and contact information.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of payments to vendors.
- Ensure all supplier accounts are up-to-date and accurate.
- Process credit card transactions and reconcile statements.
- Provide support to the accounting team with month-end and ad-hoc tasks.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
Requirements
- College diploma in accounting or business administration.
- 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in accounting software and systems.
