Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist

**Job Summary**
AppleOne is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist to join our team. As an Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the financial transactions of our company, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of accounts payable and receivable.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assemble, review, and verify invoices and cheque requests, sorting, coding, and data entry of vendor and manufacturer invoices.
- Verify and match invoices to purchase orders.
- Process bi-weekly cheque runs and monthly business office remittances.
- Reconcile manufacturer statements, reconcile sublet and payables schedules, and reconcile electronic transfer payments accounts.
- Post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records.
- Receive monthly credit card statements, gather receipts, and prepare for payment, reconcile accounts payable records with vendor statements.
- Prepare monthly analysis of expense accounts using Microsoft Excel.
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.
- Prepare and complete month-end expense posting and closing.
- Track and reconcile all Prepaid and Accrual accounts.
- Provide supporting documentation for audits.
- Balance Intercompany Accounts on a monthly basis.
**Requirements:**
- Post-secondary education.
- 1-3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.
- Working knowledge of the accounting cycle.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Good communication, both verbal and written skills.
- CDK experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of other DMS systems may be considered (Reynold & Reynolds).
- Automotive accounting experience is an asset.
