Job Summary

This role will collaborate with HR leadership to support the execution of EssilorLuxottica's HR programs and initiatives, including talent management, succession planning, performance management, recruiting, compensation planning, and employee relations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of HR policies and processes, as well as experience in operations, logistics, manufacturing, or a related environment. They will be able to work across multiple functions within a matrix environment and demonstrate a sense of urgency and drive for results.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize a consulting process to help teams identify associate performance needs and gaps and recommend solutions to address business issues.
  • Ensure managers have resources to execute appropriate HR practices, processes, tools, and systems.
  • Establish trust and provide guidance as needed to business leaders regarding their behaviors, skills, competencies, individual and team development, business decision-making, problem-solving, and general leadership practices.
  • Provide support on day-to-day HR initiatives to ensure HR is positioned to execute with excellence.
  • Proactively learn and answer basic HR transactional questions – forms to use, people to contact, and ways to increase efficiency for our business.
  • Assist in the identification, development, and execution of tools to help leaders manage and develop their own people (e.g., individual development plans, performance management, corrective counseling, succession, and talent management).
  • Support accountability for employee engagement for the business, including development and execution of action plans.
  • Assist with developing or deploying change to facilitate transition to the future state.
  • Effectively prepare leaders to execute change within their departments (e.g., acquisitions, restructuring, etc.).
  • Support/partner as appropriate to ensure opportunities are addressed systemically and consistently, with a focus on creating a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Build/foster collaborative relationships with all team members and leadership to stay informed and abreast of new initiatives and business processes.
  • Support development/execution of all system and program rollouts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, HR management, industrial/organizational psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years' progressive HR experience in operations, logistics, manufacturing, or a related environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies and processes.
  • Sense of urgency and drive for results.
  • Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated success executing change initiatives.
  • Proven ability to work across multiple functions within a matrix environment.
  • Responsive, with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong collaboration/teamwork; reinforces one voice of HR.
  • Demonstrated ability to treat confidential matters with appropriate discretion.
  • Ability to maintain an enthusiastic attitude and low stress level.
  • Team player with a sense of urgency.
  • Comfortable conversing with all levels of management (executive to store level).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
  • HR Generalist experience, including associate relations, talent management, learning and development, and recruiting.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $92,467.06. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
