Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking a highly organized and dedicated Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Shentong Education. This role involves identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, preparing and posting job notices, collecting and screening applicants, and advising on employment terms and conditions.
About the Role- This is a permanent position with a competitive salary of $**55,000 - 65,000 per year**, depending on experience.
- The successful candidate will work 35 to 40 hours per week in a dynamic environment with a team-oriented culture.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities- Identifying current and prospective staffing requirements through consultation with department managers and analysis of organizational needs;
- Preparing and posting job notices and advertisements in various media channels to attract qualified candidates;
- Collecting and screening applicant materials, including resumes and cover letters, to ensure they meet minimum qualifications;
- Advising job applicants on employment requirements, terms, and conditions of employment, as well as company policies and procedures;
- Reviewing candidate inventories to identify top candidates for each position;
- Contacting potential applicants to arrange interviews and assessing their suitability for the role;
- Notifying applicants of results of selection process and preparing job offers for successful candidates;

Requirements- Education: College/CEGEP degree in Business Administration or related field;
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in human resources, recruitment, or a related field;
- Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time management skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion;
- Familiarity with HR software and systems;
- Personal Suitability:
- Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively;
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic;
