Technical Management Office Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Management Office Manager to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for investigating and finalizing medium/high risk ER/LR cases in support of designated business lines/subsidiaries/countries.
Key Responsibilities- Independently manage ER/LR cases requiring specialized depth of expertise and knowledge of the Bank's Code of Conduct, HR policies, employment law, and assigned business lines/subsidiaries/countries.
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide value-added advice and coaching on employment-related issues to employees, People Managers, and HR Business Partners.
- Identify trends and provide insights to Senior Leadership and HR Business Partners to contribute to the HR strategy.
- Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Champion a high-performance environment and contribute to a team environment that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates others.
- Post-secondary degree or college diploma in Human Resources, Business, or another related field.
- CHRP or CHRL designation is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of how to read and interpret collective agreements (international).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including strong report writing and presentation skills.
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office products.
