About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at The Heights at Mt. View community in Baptist Housing. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents, including conducting resident assessments, administering treatments and medications, and managing the health of residents with unstable conditions.
Responsibilities
- Provide team leadership and develop care plans for residents
- Assess and manage the health of residents with unstable conditions
- Administer treatments and medications as prescribed
- Conduct resident assessments and develop care plans
- Lead in the development and implementation of person-centred care plans
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree
- Member in good standing or eligible for membership with British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Food Safe Certificate
- Experience as a nurse in a long-term care environment, preferably
