Job Description

As a Registered Nurse at AgeCare, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clients in their homes. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering health education programs to promote healthy lifestyles and disease prevention;
  • Managing home care cases to ensure seamless patient care and efficient use of resources;
  • Providing consultative services regarding nursing profession and practice issues to enhance patient outcomes;
  • Providing nursing care to patients in their homes, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as needed;
  • Supervising licensed practical nurses and nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to established protocols.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field;
  • Current registration with the relevant nursing regulatory body;
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in home care or related field;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams;
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records;
  • Physical stamina to perform job requirements, including standing for extended periods and lifting equipment as needed.
