Nursing Care Specialist

Island Health is seeking a highly skilled Nursing Care Specialist to join our team. This role requires a registered nurse with experience in neo-natal nursing and a strong ability to communicate effectively.
SalaryThe estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our team.
Key Responsibilities- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
- Graduate of a recognized neo-natal nursing specialty program or enrollment into specialty training pathway.
- Maintenance of current CPR Basic Rescuer certification and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Recent experience working in a newborn intensive care unit or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to organize assigned workload and set priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with a variety of internal and external contacts.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
