Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Chef Lead to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading our team of chefs and cooks to deliver high-quality dishes that exceed our guests' expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Estimate costs of supplies and food items
  • Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory
  • Analyze operating costs and other data
  • Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff
  • Supervise activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers
  • Create new recipes
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets
Requirements
  • 5 years or more of experience in a similar role
  • Bilingual (English and French)
  • Certificates, licenses, memberships, and courses (Safe Food Handling, Cook Red Seal, WHMIS, and Food Safety)
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. We offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

Compensation

$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
