About the Position
The CIUSSS du Centre-Ouest-de-l'Île-de-Montréal is seeking an Ergotherapist to join our team at one of our Long-Term Care Centres (CHSLD). As an Ergotherapist, you will play a vital role in helping our residents maintain their independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to promote independence and autonomy
- Conduct assessments and interventions to address physical, cognitive, and emotional needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support
- Develop and implement adaptive strategies to enhance residents' daily living skills and mobility
- Provide education and training to residents, families, and staff on ergotherapeutic techniques and strategies
Requirements
- Member in good standing with the Ordre des ergothérapeutes du Québec
- Experience working with older adults or individuals with disabilities an asset
- Fluency in Italian an asset for working with the CHSLD Dante population
