Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Floral Long Term Care. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Assist with the admission, transfer, and discharge of residents, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Document resident care services in a timely and accurate manner, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to facility policies.
  • Educate residents and their families on treatment plans, rehabilitation, and changes in their condition.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Adhere to infection control policies and procedures, as well as all other facility standards of care.
  • Consult with physicians regarding resident care and notify them of any changes or concerns.
  • Maintain resident confidentiality and adhere to facility policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in ongoing education and training.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited LPN program or equivalent.
  • Experience in long-term care or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and team-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
