Job Summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide strategic support to our leaders and employees, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to determine job descriptions and develop processes to ensure efficiencies and effectiveness
  • Provide guidance on labour relations, including collective bargaining and grievances
  • Conduct investigations into employee misconduct and complaints
  • Develop and deliver training programs to support employee development and engagement

Requirements

  • University degree in social sciences, human resources, or related field
  • Valid HR designation (i.e., CPHR)
  • Minimum 5 years progressive experience in a human resources generalist role
  • Strong working knowledge of applicable HR legislation and regulations
  • Experience developing and maintaining processes to ensure efficiencies and effectiveness
