About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our team at Alkazaz Dental Corporation. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our dental team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Operations
    • Greets patients and visitors, directing them to the appropriate area or contact person.
    • Provides basic information to clients and the public, including office policies and procedures.
    • Obtains and processes information required to provide customer service, such as patient demographics and medical history.
  • Administrative Support
    • Operates the switchboard or telephone system, answering and directing calls as needed.
    • Orders office supplies and maintains inventory levels.
    • Records and relays information, including patient messages and appointment schedules.
    • Schedules and confirms appointments, ensuring timely and efficient use of dental staff time.
    • Processes payments and maintains accurate financial records.
    • Performs clerical duties, such as filing and sorting mail, and distributes correspondence as needed.
    • Answers telephone calls and relays messages to dental staff.
    • Assists with data entry and other administrative tasks as required.
  • Patient Care
    • Provides exceptional patient care, including greeting patients, escorting them to treatment rooms, and ensuring their comfort and well-being.
    • Assists with patient education, providing information on dental procedures, treatment options, and post-operative care.
    Requirements
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a dental office or related field.
    • Permanent employment with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
    • Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
