Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced 2nd Cook to join our team at Sodexo Canada Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food for our clients, ensuring high-quality dishes are delivered to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food for commercial cafes, including grill cooking, deli, entrees, and baking
  • Work closely with the Chef Manager to deliver on defined day-to-day activities and ensure seamless food service delivery
  • Support the creation of an excellent food service offering for our clients and employees
  • General food production, cooking, serving, and other duties as assigned
  • Follow all Sodexo programs, including Food Safety, Health and Safety, policies, and procedures
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience working as part of a team
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet established goals and objectives
  • Ensure health and safety procedures are being followed
