About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at Chicken Chef Steinbach. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including training and development.
  • Food Preparation and Service: Establish methods to meet work schedules, requisition food and kitchen supplies, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Financial Management: Prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with fast-paced and dynamic conditions.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, team player, initiative, dependability, judgement, reliability, organized, and time management skills.
