About Desjardins and the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team as an Insurance Account Representative in Bowmanville. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to build long-term relationships with clients, provide expert guidance on insurance products, and help individuals protect their families and assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new business leads, schedule appointments, and build strong relationships with clients through phone, virtual, or in-person interactions.
  • Educate clients about insurance coverages and products tailored to their needs, utilizing our proven systems to help them build and protect their wealth.
  • Help clients manage everyday life risks and recover from unexpected events by providing expert advice and support.
  • Foster a remarkable client experience by delivering exceptional service and ensuring timely resolutions to any issues that may arise.
What We Offer

In this role, you can expect:

  • A competitive base salary of $45-$50K, plus uncapped commissions and an annual bonus.
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental/life insurance after three months of employment.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A positive attitude and a drive to succeed.
  • Sales experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • The ability to communicate complex concepts simply and effectively.
  • A property & casualty license, which can be obtained if not already held.
  • A life insurance license, also obtainable if not currently held.
