Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Process Engineer to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our EPCM consulting business, you will be responsible for leading the design and execution of process engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and designers, ensuring the successful execution of projects.
  • Design and Engineering: Perform conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering design in accordance with project execution plans and design/regulatory guidelines.
  • Scope Management: Define, plan, and steward engineering scope of work, monitoring schedule, costs, and quality.
  • Client Interface: Interface with project team members and client representatives, ensuring timely receipt and delivery of information.
  • Reporting and Estimation: Prepare reports and estimates, including resource estimates, deliverable lists, and discipline lead status reports.

Requirements:

  • Education: Chemical Engineering degree with 10+ years of progressive engineering experience and 5+ years' leadership experience within an EPCM/industrial plant environment.
  • Registration: Registration with the Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) as a Practicing professional engineer (P.Eng.).
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical skills in Process Simulation and hydraulic evaluation using industry-accepted software.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with fertilizer processes, including pipe reactor, granulation, crystallization, blending, bagging of aluminum sulphate, ammonium phosphate, ammonium sulphate, and potash production.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven ability with planning engineering work execution, preparing key deliverables, and ensuring conformance to standards throughout project stages.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license with an acceptable driver's abstract.
