Lead Process Engineer

CB Canada is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to contribute to our engineering consulting services. This role is essential for delivering high-quality engineering solutions in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Engineering Design: Execute conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering designs aligned with project objectives and regulatory standards.
  • Team Leadership: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and designers, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Project Management: Define and oversee the engineering scope of work, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Client Coordination: Engage with project teams and client representatives to facilitate effective communication and information exchange.
  • Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports and resource estimates to track project progress and deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Chemical Engineering with over 10 years of progressive experience in engineering roles, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity within an EPCM or industrial setting.
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with the relevant engineering association.
  • Proficient in Process Simulation and hydraulic evaluation using industry-standard software.
  • Familiarity with fertilizer production processes, including but not limited to pipe reactors, granulation, and crystallization.
  • Experience in sizing and selecting equipment and instruments such as separators, pumps, and control valves.
  • Knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards, including API and ANSI regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute engineering work while ensuring compliance with project standards.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
