Job Summary

The Leasing Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in the management and rental operations of residential properties. Reporting to the Property Manager, this position is responsible for performing administrative duties and coordinating activities related to leasing and resident relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective and existing residents, providing exceptional customer service and timely responses to inquiries.
  • Assist in resident relations, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Prepare and process leasing contracts, applications, and other related documents.
  • Conduct credit, reference, and employment checks for resident applications.
  • Ensure compliance with Realstar's policies and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to the Property Manager and other team members as needed.

Requirements

  • One year of experience in office administration, sales, apartment rental, or a related field.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing a positive experience for residents.
  • Good computer skills and proficiency in sending emails and other digital communication tools.
  • Positive attitude towards training and learning, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with residents, colleagues, and management.
  • Maintaining a neat and professional appearance at all times.
  • Autonomous person requiring little supervision in the execution of daily tasks.
  • Bilingual in French and English (required).
