Restaurant Manager Job Description

Freshii is seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our team and drive business success. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Excellence: Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless service delivery, maintain high standards of quality, and optimize efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure individual and team success.
  • Customer Focus: Foster a customer-centric culture, ensuring prompt and courteous service, and addressing customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Financial Management: Manage cash handling, balance sheets, and related reports to maintain accurate financial records and make informed business decisions.
  • Marketing and Sales: Participate in marketing plans and implementation, identifying opportunities to increase sales and drive business growth.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in electronic cash registers and other relevant software
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, withstanding physical demands and standing for extended periods
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organized, reliable, and a team player
Support for Newcomers and Refugees:
  • Assist with immediate settlement needs, such as housing, transportation, and childcare
  • Recruit newcomers and refugees displaced by conflict or natural disaster
  • Support foreign credential recognition

Language: English

Hours of Work: 30 to 40 hours per week
