Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to lead our luxury retail store in Montreal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of store operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Revenue Growth
    • Create and execute strategic initiatives to drive sales growth and exceed annual sales targets
    • Lead and motivate sales professionals to meet their sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize sales and revenue growth
  • Clientele and Service Management
    • Lead a culture focused on client satisfaction and resolution of customer service issues
    • Ensure associates deliver exceptional customer service and meet CRM data capture and clientele rapport building goals
    • Develop and implement strategic customer retention and acquisition plans
  • Operations and Inventory Management
    • Deliver controllable expenses on and/or under expense budgets
    • Ensure all company policies and procedures are communicated and followed by all store associates
    • Maintain proper care standards for products to ensure quality saleable condition
  • Talent Training and Development
    • Recruit top candidates for all positions and develop a talent pipeline
    • Develop and motivate staff through clear communication, goal setting, and regular coaching opportunities
    • Lead succession planning and training and development of store management team
Requirements
  • 5+ years retail sales management experience in a similar role, preferably within a high-end luxury accessories boutique
  • Experience opening a new store preferred but not required
  • Language skills (Spanish) are a plus
  • Well networked into the High Net Worth individual and local philanthropy scene
  • Client centric leader with exceptional clientele and customer relationship building skills
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) required, with an emphasis on motivating talent to achieve goals
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to manage high volume and inventory with an emphasis on driving results
  • Strong community relations
  • Fine Jewelry and/or Fine Watch experience preferred, but not required
  • Flexibility to work in various roles based on business needs (i.e., on the sales floor, operations, etc.)
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
