The Payroll Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in the success of PepsiCo Beverages Canada by providing payroll and general administrative support for the Ottawa location.
Key Responsibilities- Manage payroll for hourly and commissioned employees across multiple locations in North East Ontario.
- Support commission pay for all employees in Ontario.
- Review and adjust timecards as needed.
- Generate and facilitate review of CCO and CATS reports weekly.
- Produce and review employee roster reports.
- Track pay progression and make adjustments as necessary.
- Monitor and flag sick/vacation usage for department leaders.
- Track probation completion.
- Maintain location seniority lists.
- Monitor key safety and quality trackers.
- Provide ongoing support to the Ottawa Team.
- Previous payroll experience required.
- Experience in a union environment.
- 3-5 years of administrative experience required.
- Administrative/office management program completion preferred.
- Experience with payroll and invoicing software.
- High school diploma required.
- Professional accomplishments demonstrating self-motivation and initiative.
- Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills required.
- Ability to multitask essential.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills required.
- Self-motivated, punctual, and professional maturity demonstrated.
- Kronos and SAP experience an asset.
- Microsoft Office experience required.
- Ability to work weekends or holidays as needed.
