Job Summary

The Payroll Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in the success of PepsiCo Beverages Canada by providing payroll and general administrative support for the Ottawa location.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage payroll for hourly and commissioned employees across multiple locations in North East Ontario.
  2. Support commission pay for all employees in Ontario.
  3. Review and adjust timecards as needed.
  4. Generate and facilitate review of CCO and CATS reports weekly.
  5. Produce and review employee roster reports.
  6. Track pay progression and make adjustments as necessary.
  7. Monitor and flag sick/vacation usage for department leaders.
  8. Track probation completion.
  9. Maintain location seniority lists.
  10. Monitor key safety and quality trackers.
  11. Provide ongoing support to the Ottawa Team.
Requirements
  1. Previous payroll experience required.
  2. Experience in a union environment.
  3. 3-5 years of administrative experience required.
  4. Administrative/office management program completion preferred.
  5. Experience with payroll and invoicing software.
  6. High school diploma required.
  7. Professional accomplishments demonstrating self-motivation and initiative.
  8. Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
  9. Excellent communication and customer service skills required.
  10. Ability to multitask essential.
  11. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills required.
  12. Self-motivated, punctual, and professional maturity demonstrated.
  13. Kronos and SAP experience an asset.
  14. Microsoft Office experience required.
  15. Ability to work weekends or holidays as needed.
