Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at CB Canada. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for compiling and entering payroll data, reviewing wages, and preparing reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile and enter payroll data, post wage, and reconcile errors to maintain payroll records
  • Review wages computed and correct errors to ensure accuracy of payroll
  • Prepare reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions
  • Record changes affecting net wages, such as exemptions, insurance coverage, and update master payroll records
  • Assist with processing payroll and enter new employee information into the software
  • Maintain files and records in written and electronic formats for compliance and audit purposes
  • Perform other clerical duties, such as drafting documents, scanning, filing, shredding, and data entry

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Accounting, or Payroll is considered an asset
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a data entry, administrative support, or payroll support role is preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and approach situations in a diplomatic and professional manner
  • Proficiency in using a payroll/accounting program
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
