Job Title: Rehabilitation Therapy Technician III

Join the Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services team as a Rehabilitation Therapy Technician III. In this role, you will work closely with therapists to provide assistance with therapeutic activities and support patients in achieving their treatment goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist therapists with therapeutic activities and support patients in achieving their treatment goals.
  • Provide direct contact instruction and training to patients on their treatment plans.
  • Train others to ensure continuity of treatment plans.
  • Monitor treatment goals and objectives through direct contact observation.
  • Assist in the development and evaluation of treatment plans.
  • Schedule and assist with staff training to ensure continuity and follow-through of treatment plan objectives.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive a state vehicle may be required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others.
  • General knowledge of Joint Commission/Behavioral Health regulations and state hospital policies and procedures.
