Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth and achieving business objectives by strengthening compliance with our EL360 program and encouraging new clients to join EL360. Additionally, the candidate will support Vision Source clients participating in EL360 as well as Diamond Plus accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales synergy teams to drive sales growth and achieve financial objectives by establishing strong relationships and service levels with EL360, Vision Source clients participating in EL360, and Diamond Plus accounts.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews with all EL360 clients (including Vision Source) and Diamond Plus accounts to ensure they meet program parameters.
  • Support Diamond Plus accounts in achieving portfolio growth objectives.
  • Work with local sales teams to transmit sales leads and close the loop on all identified opportunities during reviews.
  • Generate sales leads by continuously stimulating new accounts to join EL360.
  • Be the primary point of contact for all EL360-related questions within the local synergy.
  • Regularly meet with local sales teams to collaborate and build strategies on new business opportunities and establish common priorities.
  • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of our solutions to existing EL360 and Diamond Plus clients.
  • Utilize knowledge of the independent optical retail market to recommend opportunities to gain market share.
  • Attend local and national events.
  • Travel within the assigned region, up to 80% (may include overnight stays).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in sales, business administration, or a related field.
  • Min. 7 years of experience in a sales account management or similar role in the eye care industry.
  • Analytical skills and experience with formal account reviews.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to interact and negotiate effectively with all levels of the organization and clients.
  • Initiative and sense of urgency.
  • Ability to quickly find and implement creative solutions to problems.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Microsoft Office skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Professional sales skills are an asset.
  • ABOEC certification is an asset.
  • Bilingual (French and English).
