We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team in North America. As a key member of our Wholesale team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and achieving business objectives by strengthening compliance with our EL360 program and encouraging new customers to join the program.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Sales Synergy teams to drive sales growth and achieve financial objectives by establishing strong relationships and providing excellent service to EL360 customers, Vision Source participants, and Diamond Plus accounts.
- Conduct quarterly reviews with all EL360 participants (including Vision Source) and Diamond Plus accounts to ensure they meet program parameters.
- Support Diamond Plus accounts in achieving portfolio growth objectives.
- Work with local sales teams to share sales leads and close opportunities identified during reviews.
- Generate sales leads by continuously encouraging new accounts to join the EL360 program.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all EL360-related questions within the local synergy.
- Regularly meet with local sales teams to collaborate and develop strategies for new business opportunities and establish common priorities.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of our solutions to existing EL360 and Diamond Plus accounts.
- Utilize your knowledge of the independent optical retail market to recommend opportunities for market share gain.
- Attend local and national events.
- Travel within assigned region, up to 80% (may include overnight stays).
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Min. 7 years of experience in a sales account management or similar role within the eye care industry.
- Analytical skills and experience with formal account reviews.
- Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to interact and negotiate effectively with all levels of the organization and clients.
- Initiative and sense of urgency.
- Ability to quickly find and implement creative solutions to problems.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
- Microsoft Office skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Professional sales skills are an asset.
- ABOEC certification is an asset.
- Bilingual (French and English).
