About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Ivy's Kitchen Vietnamese Restaurant Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and guidance to staff on job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, and sales.
  • Prepare Reports and Budgets: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance, and develop budgets and cost estimates.
  • Address Customer Concerns: Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for staff, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing downtime.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service environment, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
Work Environment
  • Work Site Environment: Fast-paced environment with exposure to noise, odors, wet/damp conditions, and hot temperatures.
  • Work Setting: Fast food outlet or concession.
