Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Nightingale Restaurant. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Team: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service team, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our customers.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to ensure that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining the high standards of Nightingale Restaurant.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our inventory management and business decisions.
- Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for our food service team to ensure that we have adequate coverage during peak periods.
As a Food Service Supervisor at Nightingale Restaurant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
Requirements- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role is preferred.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in our restaurant, and proficiency in English is required.
As a Food Service Supervisor at Nightingale Restaurant, you will work in a noisy and hot environment. You will be required to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines to ensure that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
