Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Yorkdale Cafe Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our cafe, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Management
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure the cafe's financial stability and growth.
- Monitor cash flow, manage inventory, and optimize pricing strategies to maximize revenue.
- Customer Service
- Develop and implement customer service strategies to ensure exceptional customer experience and loyalty.
- Train and supervise staff to provide top-notch customer service.
- Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of staff members.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to improve staff performance.
- Operations and Logistics
- Oversee the daily operations of the cafe, including food preparation, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Marketing and Sales
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop sales strategies.
- Education
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant or cafe management role.
- Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
The Restaurant Operations Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
