Job Title: Business Development Representative

AGAT Laboratories is a leading full-service laboratory with a strong presence across Canada. We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Representative to promote our portfolio of services and drive business growth in the Geotechnical Materials Testing sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our market share in Alberta and Western Canada.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and implement account-specific sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Manage business relationships with assigned accounts and generate new business in alignment with our objectives and values.
  • Support the creation and execution of business plans to meet and exceed budget expectations.
  • Attend industry workshops, professional associations, and tradeshows to stay up-to-date on market trends and competitor activity.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in science, such as chemistry, geology, or engineering, or in business.
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in outside sales, preferably in B2B sales.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with fluency in French an asset.
  • Ability to deliver clear and concise sales presentations and manage multiple priorities.
  • Unquestionable work ethic and ability to work independently and within a team environment.
