About the Role:

The Sales Development Representative will play a critical role in finding and engaging new business leads for Sagan, a dynamic business committed to growing its customer base through innovative business development strategies. The representative will use both company-provided lists and their own prospecting skills to identify opportunities for the estimators to bid on projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound calls and send emails to businesses in Alabama to generate new leads.
  • Identify potential clients and business opportunities through prospecting and research.
  • Qualify leads and forward them to estimators for bidding.
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions and follow up as needed.
  • Use software such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Google Voice for day-to-day tasks.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in English (both spoken and written).
  • Experience in business development or sales preferably in a similar role.
  • Ability to prospect and research potential leads independently.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Google Voice.
