About the Role

Civeo is a global leader in workforce accommodation solutions, and we're seeking an experienced leader to join our team as a Manager, Indigenous Relations. This role will focus on developing and maintaining relationships with Indigenous communities, leading to the growth of successful partnerships in Central and Eastern Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement short and long-range indigenous business development strategies for projects.
  • Collaborate with corporate shared services teams to develop employment, skills development, and subcontracting programs.
  • Initiate and lead Indigenous awareness campaigns, both internally and externally.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities and industry clients.
  • Refine, edit, and tailor marketing collateral and presentations to specific clients and opportunities.
  • Manage and participate in client, community, and professional events to promote Civeo.
  • Develop and maintain relevant community, project-specific financial and employment information.
  • Stay current with industry trends and client activities to identify new markets and opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in Business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years' experience in Indigenous Community and Business engagement.
  • Existing contacts with Aboriginal Communities, Provincial, and Federal Ministries responsible for Indigenous affairs.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and written abilities, with highly refined presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent organizational and planning skills, and the ability to establish clear priorities.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License, with a 5-year driving record satisfactory to Civeo's driving criteria.
  • Travel to sites will be required.
