Senior Disability Claims Specialist

Empire Life is seeking an experienced Senior Disability Claims Specialist to join our Group Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing disability claims and ensuring that they are processed efficiently and effectively.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in disability claim management and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with our clients and internal stakeholders to resolve claims quickly and fairly.
We offer a competitive salary of $70,000 to $85,000 per year, based on experience. This includes:

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage disability claims from initial application to resolution
- Analyze medical information and other data to determine eligibility for benefits
- Communicate with claimants, employers, and healthcare providers to gather necessary information and resolve claims
- Develop and implement case plans to ensure timely and fair resolution of claims
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all claims activity
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., insurance, finance, business)
- 3+ years of experience in disability claim management or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
