Job Summary:

Crawford & Company is seeking a highly skilled Content Claims Specialist to join our team. As a Content Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for handling content claims in a timely and accurate manner, working closely with insurance companies and policyholders to resolve claims efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct onsite visits to meet with adjusters and policyholders to conduct inventory and valuations of total loss contents.
  • Ensure consistent and quality turnaround of all claims in accordance with company productivity and performance standards.
  • Work with other teams to organize and direct resources required for completing inventory and LKQ valuation of total loss contents.
  • Adhere to company commitment to timely and informative updates on content claims process to adjusters and policyholders.
  • Complete and submit detailed work and time logs daily for all claim tasks completed.
  • Maintain claim-related notes in company platform exclaim related to various tasks involved in handling claims.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion and pricing of all outstanding items, adhering to LKQ standards.
  • Consistently promote company brand, image, and reputation in a professional and positive manner.

Requirements:

  • Secondary School diploma.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Some prior background or experience in property claims industry considered an asset.
  • Adequate workspace, free of noise.
  • Employee must provide own high-speed internet service.
  • Company equipment, including laptop, will be provided.
  • Own vehicle and valid driver's license.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required, with business-related expenses covered by company.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office and Outlook.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and new technology.
  • Willingness to learn and continuously improve.
