Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Content Claims Specialist to join our team at Crawford & Company. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling content claims, conducting onsite visits, and ensuring timely and accurate processing of claims.



Key Responsibilities:


As a Content Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for:



  • Conducting onsite visits to meet with adjusters and policyholders to conduct inventory of total loss contents;
  • Ensuring consistent and quality turnaround of all claims in accordance with company productivity and performance standards;
  • Working with other teams to organize and direct resources required for completing inventory and LKQ valuation of total loss contents in an efficient and effective manner;
  • Providing timely and informative updates on the content claims process to adjusters and policyholders;
  • Completing and submitting detailed work/time logs daily for all claim tasks completed;
  • Maintaining claim-related notes in the company's platform, exclaim, related to various tasks involved in handling the claim;
  • Ensuring timely and accurate completion and pricing of all outstanding items, adhering to Like, Kind and Quality (LKQ) standards;
  • Consistently promoting the company's brand, image, and reputation in a professional and positive manner.


Requirements:


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A secondary school diploma;
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
  • Some prior background or experience in the property claims industry would be considered an asset;
  • Able to provide an adequate workspace, free of noise;
  • Employee must provide their own high-speed internet service;
  • Company equipment, including a laptop, will be provided, and it is the employee's responsibility to care and maintain the equipment, as per policy;
  • Own vehicle and valid driver's license;
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required, and any business-related expenses would be covered by Crawford & Company;
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office and Outlook;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and new technology;
  • Willingness to learn and continuously improve.
