Job Summary:
We are seeking a part-time Dishwasher to join our team at Sienna Senior Living's Waterford Kingston Retirement Residence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize dishes, pots, glassware, and cutlery in accordance with infection control and legislative requirements.
- Ensure proper usage of chemicals in dish machines and pot-washing areas.
- Clean the kitchen, including mopping the entire floor, and perform tasks as per site cleaning schedules.
- Receive, uncrate, and put away supplier deliveries as required.
- Alert the Chef to any problems and make recommendations for corrective action.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Grade 10 minimum education required.
- Must have Smart Serve designation and one year experience in dining room service.
- Safe Food Handling Certification is preferred.
- Proven customer service skills and excellent command of verbal and written English language.
- Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team.
