Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Specialist to join our team in Edmonton, Canada. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our SAP/SF HRIS system, ensuring seamless data management and validation. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering training and change management activities, as well as supporting the pilot and rollout phases of our HRIS project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain SAP/SF HRIS system, ensuring accurate data management and validation.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for end-users and administrators, focusing on HRIS system functionality and best practices.
  • Conduct change management activities to ensure a smooth transition to the new HRIS system.
  • Support the pilot and rollout phases of the HRIS project, ensuring timely and successful implementation.
  • Collaborate with the Back River HR team and Corporate implementation team to ensure seamless integration and data exchange.
  • Provide ongoing support to end-users and administrators, troubleshooting issues and addressing inquiries related to the HRIS system.
  • Ensure work is done according to project practices, creating and sharing relevant procedures for business needs.
  • Analyze and document HR processes for internal audit controls.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users and administrators.
  • Update HRIS and related systems, including Masterfile maintenance, ensuring accuracy of records.
  • Assist with the administration of employee programs, including benefits enrollment and changes, onboarding, payroll, etc.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years' HRIS and HR administration experience.
  • Previous experience and knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors (SF) best practices, processes, and methodologies.
  • Previous HRIS implementation experience required, including data migration, system testing, and HRIS integrations.
  • Previous experience developing and executing HR reporting required.
  • Previous experience with change management activities and training delivery required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and mitigate risks.
