Financial Controller

At Knowhirematch, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to lead our Canadian arm's financial control activities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, accounting policies compliance, and continuous finance process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of accounting functions for Canada, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Lead and support tax reporting, internal and external audits, and risk controls.
- Collaborate with business units to ensure compliance with IFRS and company policies.
- Work with HQ and Shared Services to drive continuous process improvements.
- Responsible for timely and quality closes for month-end and year-end.
- Lead other special projects and ad-hoc reporting requests as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS.
- Six plus years of experience in Financial Accounting, with 3 years of team leadership experience.
- Experience in public accounting preferred.
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- CPA certification.
