We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Knowhirematch. As a key member of our financial leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, accounting policies compliance, and continuous finance process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Management
    • Manage all aspects of accounting functions for Canada, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and company policies.
    • Lead and support tax reporting, internal and external audits, and risk controls.
    • Collaborate with business units to ensure compliance with IFRS and company policies.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Work with HQ and Shared Services to implement continuous process improvements.
    • Responsible for timely and quality closes for month-end and year-end.
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Manage a Financial Analyst and provide guidance on financial matters.
    • Carry out managerial responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS.
  • Six plus years of experience in Financial Accounting, with three years of team leadership experience.
  • Experience in public accounting preferred.
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • CPA certification.
