Role OverviewThe Financial Controller will play a pivotal role in steering the finance department, ensuring that the organization's financial health aligns with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities- Defining the strategic financial direction, including the establishment and monitoring of key financial metrics to inform decision-making.
- Conducting in-depth financial analyses for diverse business opportunities, including new ventures and product launches.
- Evaluating financial and operational outcomes against budgets and trends.
- Overseeing the complete budget cycle, from preparation to approval and monitoring.
- Identifying opportunities for profit enhancement and optimizing asset utilization.
- Utilizing key systems such as Activity Based Management and Financial Evaluation Systems for planning and reporting.
- Leading the finance team, focusing on goal setting, performance evaluation, and professional development.
- Assisting in pricing strategies and providing cost estimates for customer product proposals.
- Offering financial guidance to departmental managers and interpreting financial reports.
- A seasoned financial leader with a strong interest in the automotive sector.
- A strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
- CPA designation or progress towards it is preferred.
- Over 3 years of experience in a finance leadership role within the automotive industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and company-specific systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
